A Cool Wedding Collaboration, Part II – The St. Regis Macao and Marchesa

Over the weekend, the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel and The St. Regis Macao presented “The Wedding Showcase” — which featured couture wedding gowns and exclusive wedding themes and packages.

The gowns that caught our eye? A four -dress campaign from Marchesa, which created a special collection to represent the beauty and luxury of St. Regis properties in Punta Mita, New York, Mumbai, and Dubai.

Here are those four dresses with descriptions from the hotel group.

PUNTA MITA, MEXICO

From The St. Regis: “Paradise found. With the picturesque white sand beaches of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort as the backdrop, this gown highlights soft 3-D lace oral and threadwork embroidery. Its relaxed and owing silhouette is ideal for a destination wedding in paradise.

NEW YORK

From The St. Regis: “Classic glamour. Inspired by the original St. Regis in New York and the iconic Manhattan skyline, this gown is modern and architectural, featuring 3-D threadwork embroidery with crystalline duchess satin, embodying the classic elegance of our flagship location.”

MUMBAI

From The St. Regis: “Tradition made modern. The gown inspired by The St. Regis Mumbai is all at once time-honored and fashion-forward. Taking a cue from traditional Indian beading, it features an intricately engineered re- embroidered lace bodice with crystal and pearl embroidery. The pleated tulle skirt overlay gives the gown a lightness for the modern bride.”

DUBAI

From The St. Regis: “Vibrant elegance. With a location in the vibrant, fashion-forward city of Dubai, it was fitting to create a gown that emulates the city’s excitement and glamour. With elaborate clear crystal and pearl beading and a slim silhouette, the dramatic silk duchess satin fishtail skirt makes this gown as eye-catching as the view from The St. Regis Dubai at night.”
