Kucoon Designs is a women’s clothing line that caters towards a stylish, adventurous, playful yet practical woman.
Founded by Andrea Spratt in Los Angeles, Kucoon’s mission is to create clothes that feel good and look good on, making it easy to feel both comfortable and confident.
This month we’re featuring Kucoon’s Mimi Hooded Top, a lightweight woven knit that’s lined with soft stretch jersey — and available in black or creme.
The Mimi has two ties on each side so that you can tie it in the back to transform it into a cool and comfortable top.
It’s a very versatile, fun piece, which offers different looks depending on how you choose to wear it.
This is the Kucoon way, taking the ordinary and turning it into the extraordinary, a beautiful metamorphosis.

Kucoon started as a cathartic passion project by designer Andrea Spratt while she taught High School in South Central, LA. She got her recognition by making costumes for a circus-troupe called Clandestino.
From there her popularity grew in a cult following which eventually led to her being able to leave her day job and pursue her passion project full-time.
With the support of an incredible community of friends Kucoon Designs was borne out of a bedroom in 2007 and continues to grow.
Kucoon is anti-trend, taking a path that is not driven by what is popular, but what women look good in. Rather than following fads, Spratt follows her experiments and instincts in the design process.
Kucoon continues to expand, finding a necessary niche in women’s fashion.
