***

Under perfect blue skies, tens of thousands marched with pride.

Rainbow colors flowed as costumed dissident voices called to attention the looming darkness ahead to cheering crowds lining the route.

The cry for equal rights, gun control, and health care awareness continued this year, as time is of the essence. Gains in equality made by the LGBT community over the past decades now contend with the goals of the present administration.

With that in mind, a unified voice for progress abounded on signs and in chants as community groups from all walks of life proceeded along the march.
