Union Cantina, Southampton’s award-winning Mexican restaurant, has officially opened their all-new Union Burger Bar. The restaurant extension is located adjacent to the contemporary Mexican restaurant, offering an assortment of specialty gourmet burgers, fresh hand-cut fries, maniacal milkshakes & desserts, and of course an elaborate craft beer and small batch bourbon selection. The Southampton Inn has invested $100,000 to enhance their property, including the lawns and gardens surrounding the poolside and courtyard dining areas. A new sibling to the classically-chic Upper East Side eatery T-Bar Steak and Lounge opens in Southampton this June: T-Bar Southampton. The NYC restaurant transplant will offer a happy hour from 11pm to 1am, in addition to the surf-and-turf dishes such as tuna burger and pulpo thin-crust pizza that you will find on the regular menu.
T-Bar is known for its outstanding cuisine in a casual yet elegant space. Under the watchful eyes of restaurateur Tony Fortuna and Executive Chef Ben Zwicker, T-Bar is a new spin on the classic upscale steak house. Southampton Social Club is known for its lushly appointed and abundant outdoor space accented by a fire pit adorned backyard, in combination with its world-class fine dining and hip entertainment. SSC continues to boast one of the most impressive menus on the East End, courtesy of Executive Chef Scott Kampf, a native New Yorker and culinary veteran for more than two decades (who also helms the kitchen at Southampton Social Club’s sister restaurants, Union Cantina and Union Burger Bar). Among the scrumptious fare he is serving up this year at SSC are lobster tacos, Asian ginger salad, a selection of sushi rolls, cast iron seared filet mignon with a choice to add lobster tail, and diver scallops.
SSC’s South Beach inspired cabanas can each accommodate 10 to 12 people, offering the perfect intimate setting for either early evening cocktails and appetizers or an after-hours bash. The Library/VIP Stage, with space for up to 30 people, has multiple menu options and turns into a bustling nightclub on the weekends. The outdoor cabana area/Sunset Bar can accommodate up to 75 people for dining and 150 for cocktails with a separate entrance and a private bar, and also features multiple menu options.
