If there is someone I would love to meet it would be Amal. She is a world-renowned human rights attorney, a fashion icon and Lebanese like me. I feel like she doesn’t let her celebrity get in the way of her mission, which is to help others.

8. Best dining experience you’ve ever had?
I have a favorite restaurant in the West Village – Bar Pitti. I love the first time it gets warm each year and the tables are pulled out to the sidewalk. I still remember the first time I was there 10 years ago when I moved to New York City. After a decade, it still excites me to go back for amazing Italian food and a great espresso.

9. Favorite vacation spot and hotel?
My favorite vacation spot in Asti, Piedmont Italy and my favorite hotel is Rotarius B & B. It is a B & B and in word just one suite right in the middle a medieval tower. Yes, it is amazing. It is the work of architect Elisabetta Tovo and it is a place that I can’t wait to return to.
