Everything should click here. You have actor Dave Bautista, a well-rounded cast, a stylish director, and the backing of Netflix.

But, whoa, what a disappointment!

Other than a zombie tiger and a standout supporting performance by Tig Notaro, this unoriginal, soulless film has the potential to turn you into one of the undead or, at the very least, steal nearly two-and-a-half hours of your life.

If you’re looking for a good new zombie flick, watch Peninsula instead.
