When should a person wear a belt with an outfit?

Obviously hard to say, as it depends on the outfit.  Most outfits look better wearing a belt to show the silhouette of the person.  Regardless of your size, showing a silhouette is a much more flattering and feminine than the free flowing alternative.

Are there certain belt styles meant for certain body types?

All belts worn on ladies bodies should be contoured.  As our bodies are not straight, but have curves.  Contoured belts fit much better.  That being said, depending on your body, the belt should be at your most flattering spot.  Some people who have larger busts, look better with lower belts, to give the body a “longer” look.  It’s not really about the belt, its more about where on the body you wear your belt to look best on you.

Where do you and other belt designers get their inspiration? Other than yourself, who’s your most favorite belt designer, and why?

I have never met another belt designer.  My inspiration comes from the fashion trends and silhouettes of the season.

What was your most popular/sought-after belt and why? How can someone find it/buy it?

Our most popular belt in existence that I know is the 534.

The reason is that we have sold well over 100,000 and its still sells GREAT every day.

I designed it in 1995.  Why it’s so great? It fits in pant loops or looks wonderful on the hips.  It shapes the body, as there is stretch between the links…
No one is ever disappointed.  It is the greatest workhorse belt in existence.
