Strutting green skeletons danced as brass bands serenaded thousands during a warm, clear 45th All Hallows Eve Parade. Wave after wave, ghouls, goblins, and a few Trumps pranced down the Ave of Americas to everyone’s delight. Surprisingly few political statements in this mid-election year. All in all a good scary time for the little spectators, eyes wide open, mesmerized by “Day of the Dead” revelers, fright night clowns and flying bats swooping from overhead. The night’s breeze caressed gently, beating drums signaling what may lie ahead.
