This Cherry Blossom vase, by Leslie Green Guilbault of LGG Creative Art, was thrown on the potter’s wheel, and the details of each branch, leaf, and flower were hand-carved through the black underglaze to reveal the ivory-colored clay beneath (“scraffito” technique).
