NEW YORK, NY, June 26, 2022 – The 52nd NYC Pride March returned to Fifth Avenue after a two year covid hiatus. Hundreds of thousands cheered the rainbow colors flood down Fifth as celebration of hard won liberties throughout years of blood sweat and tears. Planned Parenthood led the way chanting disgust for the recent Supreme Court decision. Meanwhile, a protest parade, The Queer Liberation March, stepped off Foley Square moving up Sixth Avenue holding signs of future concerns. Gay rights, gun violence, same sex marriage, a cacophony of sound and visuals was the concern of the day as the Supreme Court plots the next move. It is the second year celebration and protest divided into two processions, soon the haves and have-nots will re-consider a fractured voice to be joined again fighting for their civil rights as one. “Now Go Vote.”
