1. What is your earliest musical memory?
When I was little, after my parents would put me and my siblings to sleep my dad would practice piano. I would listen to him play until I fell asleep.

2. What has been your most embarrassing musical moment?
I’m pretty much always embarrassed and plagued by shame so this question is impossible to answer.

3. What do you like and dislike about touring?
I love playing a show every night and meeting new people on the road. The biggest downside of touring is that I miss my dog, Willie, who I usually have to leave behind in Nashville.

4. What is your favorite record store, anywhere in the world?
It’s gotta be Grimey’s in Nashville. They are a staple in the Nashville scene and everyone who works there is an awesome human.

5. Other than your own music, what is your favorite song or album of all-time? Why?
Doo Wop by Lauryn Hill. She’s a genius with lyrics and melody. I could listen to that song on repeat forever and be completely content.

6. You wake up in a seedy Berlin hotel room with no recollection of the past 96 hours. Who is your first call?
I’d call the operator and ask if there are Little Caesars in Germany because I’d be in dire need of a Hot n’ Ready.
