New York City’s 42nd Annual Halloween Parade, “Shine A Light,” was enlivened by brass bands, giant puppets and costumed revelers.
Tens of thousands marched up the Avenue of the Americas as the crowd — ten deep along the route — cheered along on a balmy Saturday night.
Get-ups ranged from the creepy to the creative, with political costumes, social themes and a Mexican memorial for the missing students interspersed throughout the All Hallows’ Eve event.
